Your catalyst is also your healer…
Often when something goes “wrong” in our lives, we view it through this lense:
It’s getting under my skin.
This has become a problem.
He is a thorn in my side.
She is a pain in the ass.
But if we switch our outlook, we’ll see that the very thing that upsets our gentle balance is the thing that spurs us into self-reflection, change, and ultimately, growth.
Imagine if you were able to view every problem as it arises through they eyes of gratitude. Imagine if during those uncomfortable moments of pain and annoyance, we were able to say, “Thank you for showing up like this because in doing so you are catalyzing me into growth.”
How would this knowledge add grace, elegance and perspective to your life?
What kind of freedom would that give you?

Thanks Jodie. You are an inspiration to me! XOE
Remembering that every situation can be viewed in two ways is very powerful and can allow us to remain more “neutral” in our reactions. It is also important to remember that change happens and sometimes just sitting quietly and allowing that change to happen without getting so invested in the outcome can deliver us much grace. Thanks for the beautiful reminder!
Yes indeed, Karen. Taking an observant position is sometimes much more powerful than fighting against the tides as they come. Thank you for your beautiful words!
